On April 27th, 2009 the grade 7&8 classes went to Brandon. We left the school at 10 o clock on dot. We were very squished on the bus. We had to fit like 27 people and a bunch of instruments in a very tiny bus. Tom was our driver. Karen, Teresa and Mrs Gervin came on the trip. Well no duh mrs gervin had to come but o well. First we drove to Brandon. It was a very boring time. I sat with Carisa Penner. We looked out the window and did arts and crafts….Just Kidding! When we got to Brandon we went to Thunderbird Bowling alleys. It took forever until we actually starting bowling. On my team was Hannah, Shana, Carisa, Teresa and me. We played two rounds of bowling. Both times I didn’t do good. My highest score was like 38. It was funny cuz teresa was texting while she was bowling and she got strikes and when I tried to get striked I got it in the gutter. We played 10 pin bowling. That was the first time I ever played 10 pin. I thought I did pretty good but whatever. I got one spare and that was the highlight of my game. After we had our pizza and drinks.They were good. After we just played in the arcade and got into our band clothes. Then we went to the park cuz we had like a half hour to spare. We played on the swings, monkey bars and the teeter tottors. Once we got to the place where we played we had to wait for a few minutes then we went in and watched like 2 bands and then we practiced. We were awful at practice. Once we got on stage we did our chorale and then o waly waly and then queenwood. We all thought we sounded good but apparently we didn’t. we listened to the cd of us. At the end branden dropped a symbol on the floor and it made a big boom. I don’t like band so yah anyway.
